F.O.W. FISHING TRIP

On Saturday, September 24th, 2011, we embarked on our seventh annual F.O.W. fishing trip. We set sail at 7:00 am on Captain Jim's vessel out of Freeport, Long Island and returned with boat full of fish and good times!

This years years trip turned out to be a smooth time for all and plenty of fish to take home! Even with the threat of rain, members and families showed up to a rain free day and extraordinaraly calm waters. It was great to see everyone catching a couple of fresh dinners and getting together for this annual fishing expidition. 

One could not have asked for better weather and all
the fish that were bitting.

With Captian Jim's keen sense for fish finding, the Black Fish, Sea Bass, Fluke, Flounder, Porges and Stripe Bass were all over the hooks. 

A special thanks everyone who showed up and to Kenny Shanahan for all the work he puts into making this trip happen every year.

The F.O.W. will continue to bring together all carpenters and their families and hope to see you on next years trip!
